Before, if someone’s writing felt off, it could be lack of vocabulary, bad grammar, not enough training. Now AI can fix all of that in seconds. So what’s left is the person. Their judgment, honesty, emotional maturity, worldview, courage, self-awareness. AI shifts the question from “Can I write well?” to “Do I have anything worth saying?” And honestly, that hit me. This new era forces writers to confront themselves in a way we couldn’t hide from before.
